Leica Microsystems Announces Direct Operation in North America - Pacific Northwest Region

BUFFALO GROVE, IL-Leica Microsystems, a microscope and image analysis technology solutions company, announces a strategic transition in its market representation in the Pacific Northwest states.

Leica Microsystems distributor Bartels and Stout will no longer be representing the company as a regional dealer in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

Leica Microsystems will have a direct sales and service operation and continue a strong presence and responsiveness to this region of the U.S.

"We look forward to working more closely with our customers to provide customized, advanced imaging systems for their life science research instrumentation requirements," says Douglas Reed, vice president, North American Life Science division.
