Quality NDT Conference 2010 Call for Papers

BENSENVILLE, IL-Proposals are being accepted for the 3rd annual Quality NDT Conference, to be held March 22 to 25, 2010, at Marriot World Center, Orlando. This year’s conference will focus on measurement issues and measurement in manufacturing environments.

The conference seeks presentations and hands-on professional learning workshops about technology advancements, applications case studies and operational management concepts. Abstracts must be submitted by October 16, 2009. Submitters will be notified of acceptance by November 30, 2009, and completed presentations must be submitted by February 8, 2010.

Information for Speakers

  • Provide a 150- to 200-word abstract by October 16, 2009.
  • If your abstract is chosen, you will be required to submit a presentation for distribution to all registered attendees.
  • Presentations may not use trade names and company advertising is prohibited.
  • You will be asked to present your presentation in person at the 2010 QMC.

    A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

    The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
