ASNT and JSNDI Sign Agreement

COLUMBUS, OH - The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) and the Japanese Society for Nondestructive Inspection (JSNDI) have signed an agreement that allows JIS Z 2305 Certificate holders certified by JSNDI to gain certification in the ASNT Central Certification Program (ACCP).

Access will be limited to individuals who have obtained their JIS Z 2305 certification by examination directly from JSNDI and who have taken the required ACCP supplemental examinations developed by JSNDI and approved by ASNT. Personnel that have attained JSNDI certification through third-party agreements such as memorandums of understanding or reciprocity agreements will not be eligible to apply for ACCP certification under this agreement.

Details on the ACCP certification process can be found by contacting JSNDI here, and the supplemental examination application can be downloaded JSNDI PCP Application.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
