PRESTON, UNITED KINGDOM - Following an audit by BINDT in December last year, Test NDT International received accreditation by the National Aerospace NDT Board (NANDTB) as an Outside Agency (OA) Level 3 service provider this March. This follows on from the accreditation by BINDT as a training provider, which was granted in February of this year.

Test NDT International specializes in the training, consulting, procedure development and inspector qualification services for the aircraft and aerospace industries.

Test NDT International is based in Preston, Lancashire, and also has a sister company, Test NDT LLC, based in Brea, CA. All Test NDT International Level 3 consultants used will be, as a minimum, ASNT/PCN and EN4179 certified in the applicable methods and will have at least 30 years of NDT experience. These are the highest standards found in the industry.

Test NDT International also specializes in the development of phased array and eddy current array inspection techniques for aircraft and aerospace inspection and is also a founder member of the Olympus NDT training academy.

Boeing-approved Level 3 services are also available for procedure development or approval for Boeing suppliers.

Although the consultants are certified in all major methods, (UT, ET, RT, MT, PT and VT), it is expected that, due to Test NDT's extensive aerospace phased array experience over the past six years, the phased array consultation and procedure development will form a major part of this work.

Test NDT has already provided training and consulting work for many government agencies, military services and aerospace primes along with their supplier network.

The Level 3 support work is offered as anything from one-off applications such as procedure/technique development or examination administration to full contract cover as the designated outside agency Level 3 for a company with regular weekly or monthly visits. Work can be conducted anywhere in the world and consultants are available with English, Spanish, Danish and Hindu language capabilities.
