Eugene Arthurs Elected to Edmund Optics' Board

BARRINGTON, NJ-Eugene G. Arthurs, executive director of SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics, has been elected to the board of directors of Edmund Optics. As a board member, Arthurs will serve on the corporation’s executive search, nominating and sales and marketing committees.

“We believe Dr. Arthurs’ contributions will be invaluable toward aiding our continued global growth and future business prospects from his perspectives of international industry leadership and corporate management,” says Robert Edmund, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Edmund Optics. “We believe his background and credentials are an excellent match with the company’s global objectives.”
