OpenCV Now Running on Vision Components Cameras

ETTLINGEN, GERMANY-Image processing provider Vision Components GmbH has adapted OpenCV, the open source program library, to its VCRT operating system, implementing it on all lines of VC smart cameras.

OpenCV was originally developed by Intel and published under a BSD license, running only on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems. Integrating OpenCV into the smart cameras has increased their application range because OpenCV includes many enabling algorithms.
