NATICK, MA-Cognex Corp., maker of vision software and vision tools, has announced the launch of the Cognex Acquisition Alliance. Through the alliance, Cognex establishes technical and marketing relationships with camera manufacturers. This partnership program provides the company’s mutual customers with integrated machine vision solutions.
Benefits of the program include rapid integration and qualification of new partner cameras with Cognex VisionPro software through vendor self-verification and enhanced customer service through product cross training.
The following suppliers have already joined the alliance: Allied Vision Technologies, Basler AG, Dalsa Corp., e2V, Imperx Inc., JAI, Point Grey Research Inc. and Prosilica Inc.
