ESSEX, UNITED KINGDOM and OTTAWA, CANADA-e2v, designer and manufacturer of industrial imaging sensors and cameras, and Pleora Technologies Inc., manufacturer of video connectivity solutions, have entered a partnership agreement whereby e2v will employ Pleora’s iPORT eBUS Universal and Optima drivers to communicate with e2v’s industrial inspection cameras with GigE interfaces.

“This agreement enables e2v to ensure the smooth integration of our GigE cameras in any system,” says Christophe Robinet, strategic marketing manager for industrial imaging products at e2v. “Through this partnership, we can accelerate the development of cameras with advanced GigE features and more quickly satisfy growing customer demand for high-performance, standards-compliant GigE connectivity.”
