AKRON, OH – Applied Vision Corporation announced the addition of a key employee to its powerful international sales team. Jeff Hartung recently joined Applied Vision as its executive vice president of sales and marketing, operating from the Company's headquarters in Akron, Ohio.

Hartung's career highlights include key positions held at Exxon Corporation, General Electric, and TRW. Prior to joining Applied Vision, he was the vice president of Inspection Equipment and Business Unit Manager at Emhart Glass, a Swiss based company with major operations in United States for glass manufacturing and inspection. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, the Syracuse University and the Canfield University in United Kingdom with an MBA and Advanced Development Program in Post MBA.
