Applied Vision Brings Industry Expert On Board

AKRON, OH – Applied Vision Corporation announced the addition of a key employee to its powerful international sales team. Jeff Hartung recently joined Applied Vision as its executive vice president of sales and marketing, operating from the Company's headquarters in Akron, Ohio.

 

"The addition of Jeff to our already strong team fills an important position in our path and supports our aspirations for Applied Vision's growth," said Amir Novini, the president and CEO of AVC. Novini added, "Jeff has all the right skills for the job, including his deep understanding of our business that he acquired while working for Emhart Glass, a valued customer of Applied Vision."

 

Hartung said, "It is a pleasure to work for a company that places such a high value on customer care and anticipation of customer needs. I feel confident that with Applied Vision's support, we will grow as a company exponentially, both organically and through strategic acquisitions and alliances."

 

Hartung's career highlights include key positions held at Exxon Corporation, General Electric, and TRW. Prior to joining Applied Vision, he was the vice president of Inspection Equipment and Business Unit Manager at Emhart Glass, a Swiss based company with major operations in United States for glass manufacturing and inspection. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, the Syracuse University and the Canfield University in United Kingdom with an MBA and Advanced Development Program in Post MBA.
