Troy, MI — X-R-I Testing receives Nadcap accreditation for Welding by demonstrating their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying requirements and industry specifications for aerospace quality welding.

“The addition of on-site Nadcap certified welding provides metal casting manufacturers the advantage of having their castings inspected for quality assurance by a Nadcap accredited Nondestructive Testing (NDT) facility, and when necessary have the defect casting repaired under the same roof,” explained Bobby Broaddus, president of X-Ray Industries. “This single source location results in increased throughput and a reduction in time, money, and scrap for our customers.”

Nadcap achievement is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at producing a quality product through superior special processes. “Companies such as X-R-I Testing work hard to obtain this status and they should be justifiably proud of it,” said Joe Pinto, vice president and chief operating officer at the Performance Review Institute. “PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies such as X-R-I.”

A privately held U.S. company, X-R-I Testing, a division of X-Ray Industries, Inc., has more than 70 years experience in providing Nondestructive Testing services, including radiographic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic and thermography to the aerospace, defense, power generation, industrial, automotive, and marine industries.
