Edmund Optics introduces new Laser Line Non-Polarizing Plate Beamsplitters. These beamsplitters are insensitive to the input beam’s polarization state, making them ideal for use in a wide range of demanding laser applications where polarization control is critical.

Laser Line Non-Polarizing Plate Beamsplitters feature high laser damage thresholds of greater than 6 J/cm2 at 1064 nm at 10 ns. A coating with dielectric layers increases system performance, while maintaining the polarization state of the input beam. The 1025 nm to 1095 nm coating is designed for popular industry lasers, including Nd:YAG, Yb:KGW and Yb:YAG. Low GDD coatings are offered for femtosecond (fs) laser applications, designed to maintain the input beam’s pulse width. They offer an impressive λ/8 surface accuracy for minimal wavefront distortion.

Laser Line Non-Polarizing Plate Beamsplitters are offered in four 25.4 mm diameter models with design wavelengths of 355 nm, 515-532 nm, 770-830 nm and 1025-1095 nm. Manufactured using a fused silica substrate, they have a clear aperture (CA) of greater than 22.9. The RoHS compliant beamsplitters meet MIL-C-675A standards for durability.
