NORTHAMPTON, MA — MachineMetrics Inc. will donate 10 percent of all sales from their time at the MFG Meeting to the NTMF, a nonprofit designed to fund manufacturing education.

The 20-year-old Foundation operates independently and creates numerous institutes and scholarships that support students who are pursuing careers in the manufacturing industry. MachineMetrics will donate 10 percent of subscription revenue generated by customers who sign up at The MFG Meeting in Palm Desert, Calif.

This commitment will last for 12 months.

Eric Hagopian, VP sales and MachineMetrics board member, expressed his enthusiasm about getting involved with the NTMF and investing in the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

“As MachineMetrics continues to grow, it’s important to give back in some way,” he said. “If students want to go on and pursue an education in manufacturing, there should be ample opportunities for them to do so. The NTMF has done outstanding work to consistently provide these opportunities. We are proud to be a part of that.”

As a startup, MachineMetrics stood out to NTMF with their contribution. “This is a very generous offer to the foundation,” said Mike C. Mittler, the foundation chairman and past NTMA  chairman. “It’s rare to witness such a level of philanthropy in such a young company. The National Tooling and Machining Foundation is grateful to MachineMetrics for their early dedication and commitment to NTMF.”

Donations will be derived from all sales at The MFG Meeting, hosted by NTMA and The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). The event will run from March 2 to March 5. Participants are exposed to a wide range of topics and trends from the top professionals in the industry, such as forecasts in manufacturing, sales strategies, and innovative methods.
