Coreco Inc. (St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada) has been named one of Canada's top 100 technology companies by Canadian Business Magazine.

Siemens has acquired Mannesmann Dematic and its subsidiary Rapistan Systems to form a new company, Siemens Dematic (Grand Rapids, MI), a supplier of material handling and logistics automation systems.

The American National Standards Institute Registrar Accreditation Board has granted Intertek Testing Services (Boxborough, MA) the accreditation to offer registration services for AS9100.

Motion Industries (Birmingham. AL) has received the 2000 Premier Supplier award from Bethlehem Steel Corp. (Bethlehem, PA). Award categories include energy efficiency, risk management, maintenance, repair and operating systems, raw materials handling, reclamation services and transportation. Motion Industries was recognized for maintenance, repair and operating supplies.

Gleason Cutting Tools Corp. (Loves Park, IL) has achieved ISO 14001 registration.

The Fredericks Co. (Huntingdon Valley, PA) has received ISO 9001 certification.

International Metrology Systems Inc. has relocated its North American headquarters to Novi, MI. The 5,000-square foot facility provides expanded customer support and training capability for the coordinate measuring machines the company has in operation in North America.

Saginaw Machine Systems (Saginaw, MI) has achieved ISO 9001 and QS-9000 TE supplement registration.

Chiron America has moved into their new 53,500-square foot North American headquarters and manufacturing complex in Charlotte, NC. More than 21,000-square feet are devoted to assembly, customer runoff and a machinery showroom.

Evirotronics' Customer Service Group's Calibration Service (Grand Rapids, MI) has been accredited to ISO 17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation.

The Racine, WI, facility of Bosch Rexroth Corp. has received ISO 14001 certification.
