Albion Devices Acquires Ultrasonic Arrays

SOLANA BEACH, CA-Albion Devices Inc., maker of precision measurement instrumentation, has acquired the assets of Woodinville, WA-based Ultrasonic Arrays Inc., maker of in-process, noncontact ultrasonic distance, thickness and internal bond measuring systems for industrial environments.

The purchase includes patents, inventory, intellectual property, customer and vendor lists, and trademarks. Albion intends to operate and grow the business of Ultrasonic Arrays. It will provide service to existing Ultrasonic Arrays customers, expand the range of products that use the company’s technology and introduce the company’s products to new markets.
