Presenters Sought for Machine Vision Conference Sessions

February 20, 2009

ANN ARBOR, MI - The Automated Imaging Association (AIA) is currently seeks speakers for the upcoming International Robots, Vision & Motion Control Show and Conference set for June 9-11, 2009, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

The event, which is expected to attract some 5000 participants, with an estimated 500 people attending conference sessions, is held just once every two years. Despite the current weakness in the economy, AIA expects a strong turnout at the conference.

"Companies are still investing in robotics and seeking ways to apply them more successfully," says Jeffrey A. Burnstein, AIA's president. "Our conference focuses on practical, real-world issues, which is why attendance is usually very good."

Anyone interested in giving a non-commercial presentation should submit an abstract by Tuesday, March 3. Please contact the AIA for details.
