IMS Measuring Systems Breaks Ground on New Plant

February 28, 2012

ADAMS, TWP-A groundbreaking for a German manufacturing plant brought company, state and county officials out to the event this month.

The company, IMS Measuring Systems, is constructing the first plant to manufacture its high-tech thickness-detection gauges outside of Germany, where it is based.

The 9,500 square-foot facility cost $3.5 million to build, and will border IMS’s North American Headquarters on Myoma Road, which was completed in December 2008 and employs 15 people.
