MILWAUKEE, WI – Brady has published 50 Lean Visuals for Improving Productivity and Safety in Your Lean Facility. This pocketsize book outlines 50 ways to effectively use visuals in order to improve facility safety, reduce waste and increase productivity.
“The lean visual pocketbook offers 50 practical ways for users to get started transforming their facility into a visual workplace,” says Rick Ruzga, Brady’s lean engagement manager. “It reinforces the importance of creating visual standards that can quickly and efficiently highlight abnormalities in order to sustain the gains in their lean initiatives.”
Brady’s lean visual pocketbook is divided into six chapters: workplace organization visuals (5S), production and inventory control visuals, standard work instruction visuals, equipment care visuals (TPM), safety visuals, facility and process visuals and kaizen continuous improvement visuals. Each chapter describes different lean visual examples accompanied by best practice photos to illustrate how visuals optimize efficiency and safety. The pocketbook also includes an overview of Brady’s visual workplace products such as label printing systems, ToughJet durable adhesive sheets, ToughStripe floor marking tape and toolboards and workbench marking supplies.
