Dehne leads the global R&D organization for National Instruments in Austin, TX. Dehne manages R&D centers in the U.S., Germany, China and India. During his 18 years at National Instruments, he has served as NI vice president of engineering, NI vice president of marketing, NI vice president of strategic marketing and NI GPIB product marketing manager. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1987 from Rice University. The Rice Engineering Alumni group annually recognizes outstanding engineering alumni in two categories. The Outstanding Young Engineering Alumnus award recognizes the achievements of engineers under the age of 40. The Outstanding Engineering Alumnus award recognizes alumni for careers of outstanding professional achievement and community service. This year, Pat H. Moore received the Outstanding Engineering Alumnus honor.
