AIA Nominations Sought

September 19, 2008

ANN ARBOR, MI - The Automated Imaging Association (AIA) is looking for nominees for the AIA Board of Directors. The 15-member AIA Board provides the strategic guidance for the association and is key to our success. Board members physically meet three or four times a year, sometimes around industry events. They are also called upon in between meetings to advise on key association projects. Board terms last two years - the new Board members will start their terms on February 5, 2009 at the AIA Business Conference in San Diego, California. If you or another senior executive at your company is interested in serving, please submit the Board of Directors nomination form by Friday, October 10. The current AIA Board will review all nominations and vote upon a slate of candidates to present to the AIA membership.

Second, AIA is looking for nominees for the Automated Imaging Achievement Award. This is AIA's top award for individual contributions to the industry. We look to honor people for their outstanding contributions in promoting market acceptance of industrial and/or scientific imaging. To nominate a candidate, please submit an Achievement Award nomination form by Monday, December 8. The winner will be selected by the AIA Board, and will receive his or her award at the AIA Business Conference in February.
