Edmund Optics Continues to Grow Market Share in Korea

BARRINGTON, NJ - Edmund Optics (EO), a provider of optical components, continues to increase sales in South Korea despite challenging global trade conditions. EO has achieved this through expanding the Korean sales team by 25% as well as launching a Korean language Web site.

The new Korean language Web site, www.edmundoptics.co.kr, features an entire EO online product catalog translated into Korean with Won pricing. The addition of this website brings the company's total to 10 global Web sites in six different languages allowing EO to continue to provide the highest level of regionalized service to its customers. Customers and visitors to the website can also contact representatives for free technical support and customer service in Korean via phone or email.

Adding to its already diverse and extensive product selection of more than 16,900 optical components, EO now offers more than 1,300 standard filters designs available for immediate delivery. The 2009 Master Source Book features six new families of filters including OD6 Rugate Notch, Non-Reflective Neutral Density and Broadband Interference. EO can also manufacture custom filters that can be optimized for specific system requirements.
