Oxford Instruments Voted Business Superbrand
October 1, 2009
ESPOO, FINLAND - The United Kingdom’s Business Superbrand program has announced the country’s strongest business-to-business brands. The top 500 names are selected through an independent selection process which assesses a brand’s strength in the U.K. market. A business superbrand must have established the finest reputation in its field, offer customers significant advantages which they want and recognize, and must represent quality, distinction and reliability.
Oxford Instruments has been voted a business superbrand for the first time. This year, Oxford Instruments is celebrating 50 years of scientific innovation and excellence. “Business superbrand status is a testament to our continued success over the last fifty years and our commitment to our customers,” says Chief Executive Jonathan Flint. “It is a huge endorsement of the professionalism and skill of our people, and will provide a foundation on which to consolidate our brand on a global scale”
Oxford Instruments designs, supplies and supports high-technology tools and systems with a focus on research and industrial applications. It provides solutions needed to advance fundamental physics research and its transfer into commercial nanotechnology applications. This involves the combination of core technologies in areas such as low temperature and high magnetic field environments, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray electron and optical based metrology, and advanced growth, deposition and etching.
