Scott M. Tyson

Scott M. Tyson has devoted much of his 30-year career to developing new technological approaches and sustainable strategies for space and defense applications. Long-recognized as a pioneering problem-solver and “big picture” futurist, Tyson’s groundbreaking innovations have accelerated the advancement of space electronic solutions-including the invention of manufacturing processes, which protects electronics used in space from disabling radiation. The holder of 15 patents in space technology, Tyson’s work continues to have a profound impact on the way scientists and laymen alike view themselves and the world around them through his first book, The Unobservable Universe .Tyson lives with his wife, Janna, in Albuquerque, NM.
