At times it seems that the world appears to be spinning out of control. Sometimes there seems to be no end to the distressing news happening all around us.

This distressing news seems to feel like troubles are being piled on top of troubles. Sometimes it may even look as if there we will never find a way forward.

However, the way forward can be as close as our next thought or action. For no matter how difficult and discouraging life may become, a new world of positive possibilities is available to us, if we just let it.

The future does not have to be an extension of the past. We can act now to create that future out of the abundance of positive possibilities.

Life always has its challenges, and those challenges are what enable us to bring real value to life. Whatever the circumstance, all we need to do is to step boldly forward and choose to move positively ahead.

Jim, I think you have it nailed. We can infuence the future to a certain degree. Focus on what we can in the present which can help the outcome. Thanks for continuing to offer us insights. For me they have been very helpful. Gary
