Have you ever wished you could predict your future? Within reason, it is certainly possible to do so with much more accuracy and reliability than reading tea leaves or going to a palm reader.

If you want to get a glimpse of what your future might look like, don’t have a physic look into a crystal ball.  It is much more predictable to look at your present thoughts. Essentially, your present thoughts determine your future.  It is the power of your belief system that has a more accurate affect on what your future holds in store for you.

You might be wandering just what our belief system has to do with the future.  Bottom line our belief system is essentially the collection of thoughts we accept as true; therefore, we should take a look at our life. Our life is our beliefs which have been made into reality.

As an example, if you believe that life is a struggle just to get by, that there is never enough of what you need, that you have to fight for what you get then you will never seem to have enough, and you will find yourself constantly struggling and fighting your way through life.

Conversely, if you believe there is no limit to what you can do, and adversity just makes you stronger, then your life will likely be one of resiliency and accomplishment. Basically what you see in life depends mainly on what you look for.  Simply, this means that everything you see, everything you do, everything you hear and think and wonder about is filtered through your belief system.

Therefore, if you want to shape your future into one of achievement and success (personal and professional), replace your negative thoughts about what you don't want, in favor of positive ones about what you do want.

William James, a famed American philosopher and psychologist, said, “Success or failure depends more upon attitude than upon capacity. Successful men think and act as though they have accomplished or are enjoying something. Soon it becomes a reality. Think, act, look, feel successful, conduct yourself accordingly, and you will be amazed at the positive results.”

Think about it.
