Origin Technologies Corp.

Origin Technologies Corporation develops, manufactures and sells the LaserGauge®, a versatile line of laser-based surface profiling systems. The product lineLaserGauge HS701 Sensor ranges from completely self-contained, battery-powered, handheld systems to small, remote sensors that are used for robot-mounted or fixtured applications. Custom systems are also developed to meet unique requirements.

LaserGauge® software algorithms automatically identify features and extract dimensional measurements or perform complex contour analysis. Typical applications include the inspection of fasteners, countersinks, gap/flush, radii, angle, pitting, and welds.

With over 800 systems fielded worldwide, the LaserGauge® continues to be the non-contact system of choice for inspectors in the aerospace, automotive and manufacturing industries.

The LaserGauge® HS701 DSP sensor is a handheld laser profiler with on-board processing, non-volatile memory and an integral color display. The sensor functions autonomously, capturing 2D surface scans, digitizing profiles, extracting dimensional measurements and analyzing contour features without having to connect to any other device. The sensor weighs just 20 ounces including the rechargeable, lithium-ion battery that provides up to four hours of continuous operation.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
