U.S. Engineering Laboratories Inc. (USEL), a subsidiary of U.S. Laboratories Inc. (San Diego,) has been awarded a contract for the Philadelphia Eagles Football Club's new stadium. USEL will provide quality control testing and inspection services from its on-site laboratory during construction. Off site, USEL will provide inspection services during fabrication of the structural steel. The $400-million stadium, set to open in August 2003, will seat 66,000 and occupy more than 1.7 million-square feet.
