Vancouver’s Olympic Cauldron to Be Re-Lit for Corrosion 2016’s Opening Night
VANCOUVER, CA — On March 6, the Vancouver Olympic Cauldron will be re-lit in celebration of Corrosion’s return to Canada for the first time in more than 30 years.
At 32.8 feet tall, the cauldron was first lit by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Olympic Games, and has rarely been relit since the games. It’s now a spectacular landmark that attracts visitors and locals alike.
