Home » Honeywell Marks 40 Years of Aircraft Maintenance Services
GENEVA — Honeywell celebrated 40 years of providing maintenance service plans for airplane operators and owners of business jets. As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of engines and auxiliary power units, Honeywell has designed a program implemented by industry specialists based in more than 180 service centers across 30 countries worldwide.
In 1976, the company’s first Maintenance Service Plan (MSP) was developed for operators of Honeywell-powered business and executive aircraft as a cost- and time-saving approach to engine maintenance. Through the years, MSP has expanded to include coverage for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) and supports on average 75 percent of business aviation airplanes equipped with Honeywell engines or APUs today.
