Have you ever attempted to hide from your mistakes or pretend they didn't happen? You probably answered “yes” because most of us, being human, have done this from time to time. However, some of us do this regularly. If you do this routinely, you'll keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

We need to reverse this trend to quickly recognize and admit our mistakes and learn to see the value in moving beyond them. When we found we’ve made a mistake, we've immediately uncovered an opportunity to improve.

When we discover a weakness, we've found a way to grow stronger. Overcoming a weakness in one area can make us more effective in all aspects of our life, after that weakness will cease to hold you back.

We should readily accept that there are things we've been mistaken about, things we don't know and things we have not been able to do. This puts us in a position to make powerful and positive improvements.

Instead of letting our mistakes and shortcomings grow more costly by denying that they exist, choose instead to see the real value in them. Embrace these as opportunities in which to grow, become more confident, and enable us to go on to great success. Let’s decide, today, to confidently deal with mistakes and transform our liabilities into assets.
