Dale Norwood is a 45-year veteran of the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Industry, with over 40 years spent in the Aerospace Industry side of NDT. He holds a current ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) Level III Certification for Radiography and Penetrant Testing, and NAS410 – National Aerospace Standard Level 3 Certification in Radiography, Penetrant & Digital Radiography.
Dale spent years serving on the NAS410 Sub-Committee as well as a Prime Representative on the Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program). He retired in 2021 from Parker Aerospace where he was the Responsible NDT Level 3 for the Fort Worth, Texas and Monterrey, Mexico facilities.
He currently is the owner of Norwood NDT Consulting, providing Level 3 services, training classes and qualification examinations for Radiography, Digital Radiography and Penetrant Testing as well as Radiation Safety Consulting.
Dale speaks about ethics to groups such as NDT College Students and various Aerospace companies and tells the story behind his book “Diary of an Aerospace Whistleblower” as well as discussing the current ethical issues facing the NDT industry.
