Based in Quebec City, QC, Eric first worked as a quality engineer and was responsible for a metrology lab equipped with 3D scanners and CMMs for a pattern- and mold-making shop. He joined the InnovMetric team in 2001 as an application specialist, bringing that metrology expertise with him. He became part of the product management team in 2006 and, since then, has been dedicated to converting customer requests into high-value-added functionalities that are mostly related to feature probing, feature extraction, and GD&T controls. Starting in 2019, Éric is Vice President of Product and Innovation for the PolyWorks® Metrology Suite, collaborating with his fellow VPs to determine the product vision and marketing strategies of the new products and future software releases.
