Matt Ilardo is an engineer with Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) and is responsible for alignment and surveying for the entire BNL facility, including the advanced partial accelerators. He is involved with training, support, and purchasing of metrology equipment and software for the Survey & Alignment group. Working at BNL, he is specifically responsible for alignment, pre-survey analysis, data post processing, R&D of metrology instrumentation and techniques as well as personnel support, training, and management. He is a certified trainer in surveying, mapping and scanning equipment, and software. Matt is a past chair of the Executive Committee of the Coordinate Metrology Society.
