Career Enhancement with CMS Certification for Metrologists
While advanced software and hardware technologies eliminate some of the complexities of measurement and inspection, metrologists still need to understand the fundamentals of the discipline. More importantly, employers need to know if their technicians understand metrology fundamentals and industry best practices for application of metrology instrumentation. Mr. Ilardo will discuss the multi-level CMS Certification program developed by the Coordinate Metrology Society, its focus on continuing education, and development of knowledge assessments. Attendees will learn how to leverage their work in the field of metrology to gain career-enhancing credentials and become recognized as a standout professional in 3D portable metrology.
