LEVIS, CANADA, June 17-Creaform, developer and manufacturer of laser scanners, has announced the completion of its 2008 business development plan in Asia with the official incorporation of its Japanese office, Creaform Japan. The event takes place just a few months after the incorporation of its Chinese subsidiary, Creaform Shanghai.

Since 2005, Creaform has been selling its Handyscan 3-D products to the Asian market.

Earlier this year, Creaform inaugurated a service office in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The new office enables the company to provide scanning, metrology and inspection, CAD, and reverse engineering services to its clients of Québec. Also, Creaform has recently opened a calibration center in France. From now on, the owners of Handyscan 3-D laser scanners established in the EMEA geographical area can have their scanner calibrated or serviced at the Calibration Center in France.
