MoreSUNNYVALE, CA; BRIGHTON, MI, May 9-Rapidform Inc., maker of 3-D scan data processing software, and Metris USA, maker of 3-D hardware and software inspection systems, have entered into an agreement wherein Metris will offer Rapidform 3-D scanning software with Metris' range of 3-D scanning systems. Metris is offering Rapidform XOR, XOS and XOV software tools for creating computer-aided design (CAD) models from 3-D scan data and performing dimensional inspection based on scan and probing data.
