NORWOOD, MA - Admet Inc., a provider of integrated materials testing systems, announced that Deborah Cohen has joined the company as a sales engineer with responsibilities across Admet’s portfolio of products for the medical and biomaterials markets.

The staff addition is in response to strong market acceptance of Admet's new and retrofitted universal testing machines, electronics and accessories that are used for tensile, flexure and compression testing of materials and products in support of research & development and production. Expanding sales opportunities in plastics, biomedical, biomechanical and other advanced materials prompted the company to add to its sales staff.

Commented Richard Gedney, Admet founder and president, “Admet supports customers in several traditional and new technologies. We require staff that has the technical skill and the ability to work with customers to specify and develop the proper configurations to meet their needs. Deborah brings a wealth of experience in supporting sales to technical buyers and we welcome her as a valuable addition to our staff.”

Cohen, who lives in Needham, MA, holds a Bachelor of Arts in business/psychology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
