ISO/TS 16949 Guide Available

SOUTHFIELD, MI-The “Automotive Certification Scheme for ISO/TS 16949: 2002, Rules for Achieving IATF Recognition, Third Edition,” is now available in both electronic document and print formats.

Developed by the International Automotive Task Force, this document sets forth ISO/TS 16949: 2002 implementation criteria for certification body recognition, certification body audit process, certification body auditor qualifications and certificates including:
  • Eligibility for certification to ISO/TS 16949: 2002
  • Certification body contract requirements with the client
  • Audit days determination
  • Audit planning
Any organization seeking ISO/TS 16949: 2002 certification will benefit from knowing the requirements of ISO/TS 16949: 2002 certification bodies.

New editions of the “Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan (APQP)” and the “Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)” also are now available.
