WILMINGTON, NC-Global Test Supply, provider of instrumentation for test and measurement applications, electronic production and process control, has announced that it is the recipient of a Coastal Entrepreneur Award presented at a recent ceremony at the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s (UNCW) Burney Center.

The annual Coastal Entrepreneur Awards program spotlights entrepreneurship and high-growth companies in the Southeastern North Carolina region, and is supported by UNCW's Cameron School of Business and the Greater Wilmington Business Journal.

“Global Test Supply is very honored to receive the Coastal Entrepreneur Award," says Robert Preville, president and chief executive officer. "There are three ingredients playing a crucial role in our company's evolution and early success. At the heart of this young, fast-growing company is the entrepreneurial spirit and energy of our highly skilled staff. Secondly, our competitive advantage is achieved through in-house development of SEO strategies and our proprietary, back-end business management technology that institutes automation and efficiencies in every aspect of our operation. Stir in the continual addition of new-to-the-market products, and our customers keep coming back for top-shelf products at great prices, and even better customer service."

Global Test Supply received top honors in the manufacturing/distribution category. Founded four years ago, the company is a web-and-mortar business serving more than 6,000 customers in 89 countries. Global Test Supply focuses on the sales, purchasing and leasing of test and measurement equipment, electronic production supplies and scientific instrumentation. Working with 35 manufacturers in 270 product categories, their product portfolio has grown to 15,000 products.
