GARDEN GROVE, CA-Swiss Precision Instruments (SPI), a provider of measuring products, has announced its “Certified Right Out of the Box” program for its line of measuring instruments. Effective September 1, 2009, nearly 900 products offered by SPI will be in stock, and available for immediate shipment.

Under the new program, each applicable product will be calibrated to exacting standards. Each tool will be issued a certificate of calibration stating the actual measurement results and adherence to the performance specifications compared with international standards maintained by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the National Physics Laboratory (NPL).

“To be competitive in today’s market, manufacturers need to be entirely confident in the precision of their measurement tools,” says Allan Neuman, general manager of SPI. “With this new program, we’ll be providing customers with a definitive guarantee that their tools are of high quality, defect free and comply with the required standards, and as a result saving them both time and money.”

Every product in SPI’s program will include a traceable certificate at no additional charge.
