Tomos Technologies Welcomes Sales Manager

BELLINGHAM, WA - Tomos Technologies Inc., a 3-D computed tomography (CT) scanning services company welcomes John Collins as sales manager. Collins will be responsible for building and managing Tomos Technologies’ scanning services and sales in the United States.

Collins has more than three years of sales and customer support experience from a leading distributor of NDT products. As sales manager he was responsible for a large client base including manufacturing, power generation and inspection service companies. Collins also brings more than 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force where he was an NDT Technician and received his degree in nondestructive testing. Additionally he was certified in radiography, ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle, penetrant and visual inspection methods.

Tomos Technologies is focused on offering CT scanning services to its customers, with full dedication and resulting analysis needed for each project. The company offers industrial X-ray computed tomography utilizing a micro-focus X-ray source integrated with a high resolution detector. This is supported by the powerful “FlashCT” software which provides a true 3-D reconstructed image of a part.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
