Allied Vision Introduces Software Partner Program

STADTRODA, GERMANY-Allied Vision Technologies (AVT), a maker of cameras for machine vision applications, has launched the AVT Certified Vision Software Partner Program. This cooperative effort connects the camera manufacturer with selected image processing software providers to optimize the compatibility of AVT cameras and software development kits with software providers’ solutions.

The program allows for the exchange of AVT camera models and software licenses, regular information exchanges regarding firmware and software updates and close cooperation in development and customer support. Furthermore, software interfaces developed by AVT for partner applications also will be made available on the AVT product CD and Web site.

Among the providers of imaging software that have joined the initiative are: A&B Software; Cognex; Euresys; The MathWorks; Matrox; MVTec; National Instruments; Norpix; Stemmer Imaging; and Tordivel.

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
