Acme Manufacturing Co. (Auburn Hills, MI) has earned ISO 9001 and QS-9000 TE certification.

OSI Software Inc. has changed its name to OSIsoft (San Leandro, CA), reflecting continued market expansion and software development.

The Johnson Space Center (Houston) has received ISO 9001: 2000 certification.

Cincinnati Machine (Cincinnati) plans to reinvest $2.8 million of recent property sales into renovations for its 55-acre facility.

Edmunds Industrial Optics (Pennsburg, PA) recently hosted a grand opening for its Pennsburg facility.

Metrology Concepts Inc. (Antioch, IL) has achieved accreditation to ISO Guide 25 and ISO 9002.

Coherent Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) has acquired DeMaria ElectroOptics Systems Inc. (DEOS, Bloomfield, CT). DEOS, renamed Coherent/DEOS, designs and manufactures carbon-dioxide lasers used in materials processing, electronics packaging and research applications.

Industrial Coating Services (Indianapolis) has achieved QS-9000 registration.

Det Norske Veritas Certification Inc. (Houston) has achieved accreditation to AS 9100.

Nylok Canada Inc. (Mississauga, Ontario) has received QS-9000 certification for its Brampton, Ontario, facility.

Sandor Manufacturing Inc. (Lawrence, MA) has achieved simultaneous certification to TL 9000, AS 9100 and ISO 9002.
