Creaform Expands Its Presence Overseas with Three New Offices

LÉVIS, CANADA-Creaform, developer and manufacturer of the Handyscan 3-D line of self-positioning handheld 3-D laser scanners, the optical CMM MetraSCAN 3-D scanner and the HandyPROBE line of arm-free portable CMM, is proud to announce the opening of two new international subsidiaries in Germany and India. In addition, Creaform moved its Shanghai office into larger premises in PuDong to house a growing team and the calibration center for the APAC area. As key player in the global 3-D scanning marketplace, Creaform is particularly securing a strategic stronghold in Europe where opportunities for innovative 3D scanning technology are in full rise.

After opening its first European office in France in 2005 and hiring Markus Eickhoff as Vice-President EMEA Sales in May 2010, Creaform took another major step in its expansion at the international level by establishing a new office in Stuttgart, Germany, and a sales team in India over the summer. Relying on a dedicated team of sales representatives and application engineers, Creaform is committed to meeting the increasing demand of German businesses for state-of-the-art 3-D metrology solutions.

A Practical Field Guide for ISO 9001:2008

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
