Point Grey Expands Asian Operations

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Point Grey, a provider of advanced digital camera systems, announces the official opening of its new office in Tokyo.

The office, located in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, is managed by Michael Kadoma, who is responsible for business development in Asia. The office will provide first-hand support to Point Grey’s network of authorized distributors in Japan, Korea, China, Singapore and Taiwan. Kadoma will work closely with distributors in Asia to strengthen existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities. Orders, product inquiries and technical support will continue to be handled by distributors locally.

Kadoma joins Point Grey after working for several years at one of the world’s leading providers of vision systems and software. Prior to that he gained 13 years of experience working in Asia in the factory automation and machine vision industries, most notably as director of business development and country manager for one of the pioneers of smart cameras and software.

"We are very excited to open an office in Japan and welcome Michael Kadoma to our team," says Vlad Tucakov, director of sales and marketing at Point Grey. "Establishing this office demonstrates our deep commitment to maintaining Point Grey’s growth in Asia. We strongly believe our distributors and Asian customer base will benefit from Mr. Kadoma’s extensive experience in machine vision and factory automation."

The purpose of this field guide is to assist organizations, step by step, in implementing a quality management system (QMS) in conformance with ISO 9001:2008, whether from scratch or by transitioning from ISO 9001:2000. It examines each sub-clause of Sections 4–8 of ISO 9001:2008, which contain the requirements, and gives a list of the documentation/documents required, internal audit questions, a summary of management’s responsibilities, and a flowchart of the steps that need to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements.
