ZEISS, Bitplane Announce Partnership To Distribute Imaris Image Processing Software in U.S.
THORNWOOD, NY — Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC and Bitplane AG have announced a partnership to expand the local U.S. sales representation for the Imaris image processing software package, the gold standard in three-dimensional image analysis software for microscopy data. As a leading provider of fluorescence microscopes for acquiring three dimensional image data, ZEISS customers produce some of the world’s largest and most elaborate images of cells, tissues and model organisms. This partnership will allow ZEISS to provide researchers immediate access to Bitplane’s cutting edge software for three dimensional visualization and measurements of large data (2D, 2D+time, 3D and 3D+time).
The latest version, Imaris 7.7, delivers all the necessary functionality for data visualization, analysis, segmentation and interpretation of multi-dimensional microscopy datasets. Combining speed, precision and ease-of-use, Imaris provides a complete set of features for working with three- and four-dimensional multi-channel images of any size, from a few megabytes to multiple gigabytes in size.
