SCHAUMBURG, IL, April 21-Supplier of configurable and fixed components for factory automation, Misumi USA Inc. introduces an engineering blog located at its Web site. The blog focuses on the latest mechanical component trends for assembly automation, so engineers have a place to share opinions and ideas surrounding the machine design/build industry today. In addition, Misumi engineers will post regular content to the blog, covering popular topics such as:
  • Geometric Tolerances and Fits
  • Materials, Surface Treatments and Hardness
  • Calculations
  • Component Selection
  • Frequently Asked Questions
Author and mechanical engineer Chris Blaszczyk also will make regular contributions to the engineering blog. During the past year alone, Mr. Blaszczyk has authored several articles that have appeared in numerous engineering magazines and online at various engineering web sites. Mr. Blaszczyk brings over 15 years of hands-on experience and knowledge of the assembly automation market and is Misumi’s resident expert on configurable components.

The engineering blog encourages feedback from its readers through a “contact us” form and enables readers to comment on blog postings as well. Blog entries can be searched through date, category as well as recent posts and the blog will have a permanent archive of posts.
