Lumenera to Expand Manufacturing Facilities

Lumenera (Ottawa, ON, Canada), a manufacturer and developer of digital cameras and custom imaging solutions, announced the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Ottawa, to meet market demand for custom and OEM cameras.

The company says that the increased orders for Lumenera’s customized camera services are the driving force behind the expansion. The new development will increase manufacturing space by 70% and boost camera production by 23%. This will further reduce the turnaround times Lumenera offers.

“The expansion of our camera production facilities is a testament to Lumenera’s continuous growth and development,” stated Rob Sample, manufacturing manager, Lumenera. “We are excited to ramp up production and further improve our efficiency and turnaround times to ensure customer satisfaction.”

Expansion is due to be completed in early December 2010. Lumenera is a division of Roper Industries.
