Surphaser and Rapidform Sign 3-D Scanning Solutions Agreement

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA-INUS Technology Inc., a 3-D scanning software company, is announces a strategic agreement with Basis Software Inc., a developer of the Surphaser line of portable 3-D scanners. This agreement enables Surphaser to globally distribute a complete reverse engineering solution combining Surphaser mid- and long-range 3-D scanners with Rapidform’s 3-D scanning software.

“We feel the world market is definitely turning to accuracy now”, says Nick Zintchenko, Basis Software Vice-President. “By combining the accuracy of our systems with Rapidform’s ability to create CAD models of scanned objects, our customers in aerospace, automotive and facilities management can depend on their 3-D scanning solution results with the best hardware and software combination.”
