MoreAKRON, OH, June 4-Maker of medium-duty trucks Hino Motors Manufacturing USA Inc. has presented the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with its Quality Excellence Award for commercial tires on Hino medium-duty trucks.
Hino Motors Manufacturing said the award was given to Goodyear for "outstanding product quality." Goodyear supplies Hino Motors, a Toyota Group Co., with a variety of truck tires, including Unisteel G149 RSA RH and G182 RSD regional-service tires.
Steve McClellan, Goodyear's vice president of commercial tire systems, says, "We continue to seek ways to improve quality for our products and services, but this recognition from Hino Motors Manufacturing proves our efforts are working. Receiving a quality award from a Toyota company is an honor for our commercial tire team."
